About Me
People say I've liked cars since I was born. My favorite toys - Hot Wheels, Legos, diecast models - all revolved around cars. The only literature I would pick up voluntarily were car-related books and magazines. I was one of those kids who always stayed awake during car rides and knew the make and model of pretty much every car around me.

Strangely enough, I grew up in a family where cars were simply a means of getting from point A to point B. My peers weren't particularly into cars either, at least not nearly to the extent that I was. But that never stopped me. Most of my friends now are no strangers to me suddenly ditching them during meals to snap pictures of a random cool car that passed by. By God's grace they've learned to accept my madness.

What always intrigued me most were the cars that stood out from the rest, whether it's through unique styling, noteworthy performance figures, or simple obscurity and rarity - in other words, the exotic. That passion was solidified during my years as a student at UCLA, conveniently located near the affluent communities of Bel-Air and Beverly Hills. During walks to and from class, I began seeing many unique cars in person that I had previously only read about or owned scale models of. Eventually, I started intentionally wandering the streets with a camera, searching for exotic cars and capturing those sightings through photos and videos. There's something very special about seeing unique cars in places where cars really belong - not on a showstand or roped off at a museum, but out on the streets under natural sunlight. Thanks to the rise of "Cars and Coffee" events in the late 2000's and early 2010's, I found myself regularly in the presence of all kinds of unique rides, including classics and prototypes that are rarely seen in action (if seen at all!).

I'm now married with two children, and I'm a Christian committed to walking in faith and investing in my church community. Unlike with many car enthusiasts, my affinity for cars isn't about money, status, or attention. I never made it a goal to actually own a cool car. (A house is generally a better investment anyway!) If someday God were to bless me with the means of buying and properly caring for a special ride without neglecting more important priorities, I'll gladly take it. But ultimately, my automotive passion boils down to a deep appreciation of an artistic, technological, and/or historical masterpiece - an enthusiastic but humble response toward a creative God who I believe gave mankind the creative ability to build and design such wonders.

For me, one of the most incredible things about this hobby is seeing antique cars, often over a century old, and realizing that every person who had a role in the car's design, engineering, and manufacturing has already passed on. Yet the car is still here - a testament to its significance even after several generations. Owning a special car is not about bragging rights, but rather about caring for a rare treasure whose story can continue to be told even long after we're gone.
I love to meet fellow exotic car enthusiasts and car owners, especially those who have stories to tell and experiences to share. It's my hope that through Exotic Affinity, I can share my automotive adventures with the world and connect with others who have a similar passion.
Thanks for stopping by, and hope you enjoy the videos!
