1924 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost Piccadilly Roadster
A rare grey 1924 Rolls-Royce 40/50 hp Silver Ghost Piccadilly Roadster with red wheels arriving at and leaving the 2022 Holiday Motor Excursion presented by the Horseless Carriage Club (HCCA) of Southern California.
The Silver Ghost represents the best of the Rolls-Royce brand - a timeless statement of elegance and luxury that transcends generations. From its unmistakable grille to its generous proportions, this car amazes people with its beauty now no less than it did a century ago. And the fact that its owner wasn't afraid to drive it in the rain shows that its mechanical condition is worthy of confidence. The red wheels may not be to everyone's liking, but they work quite well with this car's grey bodywork and tan top and help make sure it doesn't get mistaken for any other vintage Rolls, even here in Southern California where numerous Silver Ghosts appear regularly at car events. I'm glad its owner decided to brave the wet weather to share this special piece of automotive history with everyone!
