1935 Packard Series 1204 Super 8 Dietrich Phaeton

This car makes regular appearances at various Southern California car events, and it never fails to get my attention each time, even when there are numerous other Packards and other pre-war luxury cars present. First of all, this car is absolutely massive; its size is easily comparable to a modern full-size SUV. Combine its size with its beautiful blue paint, and it's sure to command respect wherever it goes. Then there's the body style - an amazing dual-cowl design with separate windshields for the front and rear passengers. It certainly fits the car's generous proportions and serves as a perfect example of 1930s automotive excess. And over nine decades later, this Packard can still easily outclass just about any modern luxury car on the road.
