1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec w/ Nismo Z-Tune Kit, Mine's Exhaust
A White (QM1) 1999 Nissan Skyline (R34) GT-R V-Spec arriving at and leaving "Prebble", a Pre-Monterey (Pre-Pebble Beach) gathering at Oakley headquarters presented by Ancillary Studios in collaboration with HyperSociety. This car has been modified with Nismo Z-Tune carbon fiber hood, fenders, bumpers, and side/rear skirts, along with Nismo wheels by Rays, Ganador side mirrors, and Mine's Silence-VX Pro Titan III exhaust system.
We've finally reached the long-anticipated point in time when early examples of the mighty R34 Skyline GT-R can be legally imported to the States under the 25-year rule. This car is one of several 1999 models that made it to our shores in 2024. Its owner wasted no time when it came to customization. In fact, he had the majority of the aftermarket work done while the car was still in Japan. Being a car enthusiast was never really about practicality or luxury, and there's something oddly cool about owning a car that was built for a different country and driving from what should be the passenger side. There were two R34s at this event, and I'm sure the cars will become increasingly common as more examples and variants become legal to import. But even so, they will always remain to enthusiasts as among the most legendary and desirable JDM cars ever made.
