I'm starting to believe that I might like the first-generation GranTurismo more than I like the current one. While the current car was conceived based on the need to freshen up an existing aged model, the original car was a clean slate - an exciting and organic design paired with signature Italian luxury and performance that instantly became a hit. This video was filmed over a decade ago, but that only goes to show how well this car has aged. It was never meant to scream for attention like a Lamborghini, but as a luxury grand tourer its elegant design has certainly stood the test of time. And given you can now buy one for around the price of a new base-level Honda Civic, I'm sure it will be a good investment as more and more people are drawn to its excellent balance of style, luxury, and performance.
