Blue 2021 Ferrari Roma Coupe
A blue 2021 Ferrari Roma arriving at and leaving Peninsula Cars & Coffee at Promenade on the Peninsula, organized by the Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance.
The Roma came into existence when Ferrari's portfolio already included the Portofino, another 2+2 tourer with a front-mounted V8, and it differentiated itself from its stablemate with more futuristic styling and a more technology-focused interior. I was never a huge fan of its rather incohesive styling aside from the sleek front end, and the car's heavy reliance on touchscreens has drawn much criticism. Just a few weeks ago, Ferrari unveiled the new Amalfi, the Roma's successor, which features both updated styling (which I find much more cohesive) and an interior that better balances digital and analog controls. The Roma was never a particularly bad car, and I absolutely love this gorgeous shade of blue that gives off a hint of purple under direct sun. But in light of the Amalfi, I have a feeling it simply won't go down in history as a particularly valuable or desirable model.
