The Bugatti Chiron is in many ways the quintessential hypercar. Besides its seven-figure price tag and insane power figures, it succeeded the mighty Veyron - the car largely responsible for spearheading the modern hypercar movement. Yes, there are now cars that are far more rare, expensive, powerful, and flashy. But it's hard to beat the allure of the Bugatti name. And even in today's ever-expanding hypercar market, it's hard to find something that combines so much speed and power with so much luxury and refinement. As much as many enthusiasts hate to admit it, there are now sedans and crossovers that can rival the Chiron's 0-60 mph acceleration thanks to the wonders of EV technology. But I gotta admit, there's something particularly cool about having a good old-fashioned 16-cylinder engine. I'm all for protecting our planet, but given the already mind-boggling number of Teslas and Priuses on the roads, it doesn't hurt to see just one guy choose to sit in traffic while getting nine miles to the gallon, just because he's rich enough to do so. Welcome to Beverly Hills!
