Brand New 1,064-hp 2026 Aston Martin Valhalla
A brand new matte black and exposed carbon fiber 2026 Aston Martin Valhalla arriving at and leaving The California Showcase at IKEA, organized by The Exotics Network (TEN) and Morning Car Club. Originally introduced as the AM-RB 003 prototype at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Valhalla is Aston Martin’s second mid-engined supercar/hypercar (after the Valkyrie), with a greater focus on road use. It is equipped with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain consisting of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V8 engine and two electric motors producing a total of 1,064 horsepower. This example is one of 999 Valhallas being built with a starting price of over $1,000,000.
With Aston Martin's own Valkyrie still fresh on the minds of many car enthusiasts as one of the wildest road-legal cars money can buy, it's easy for the new Valhalla to get lost in its big brother's shadows. Plus, the long time it took for the car to go from concept to production really drained a lot of the initial hype behind it. Still, it's finally here, and it's a car that deserves to be recognized. Put the Valhalla next to the Valkyrie, and it's clear the latter has much more visual excitement thanks to its extreme track-focused design. But even among car enthusiasts with an unlimited budget, many are simply not interested in spending $3-4 million on something that offers zero practicality and requires professional gymnastics training to get in and out of. At "only" around a million bucks, the Valhalla seems like a bargain and is much more usable as a road car, yet it is still everything you'd expect from a seven-figure hypercar. Rather than settling with just one entry in the mid-engined hypercar segment then taking a break, Aston Martin decided to immediately build another, ensuring that its wealthiest clients are able to find the right car without deflecting to another brand and that everyone knows they're here in this segment to stay.
