A brand new grey 2027 Ferrari Amalfi from Ferrari Beverly Hills arriving at and leaving the 2026 San Marino Motor Classic at Lacy Park. Introduced in July 2025 as the successor to the Roma, the car is named after the Italian coastal town of Amalfi. With a starting price of around $270,000, it features revised styling and is powered by an updated version of the Roma’s 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 631 horsepower and 561 lb-ft of torque.

When dealerships participate in public car events, attendees sometimes get to catch a glimpse of new cars that are not yet available for customer delivery. Thanks to Ferrari Beverly Hills, here's my first video of a car from the 2027 model year. With Ferrari being the subject of much controversy in recent years with the radical F80, the unconventionally styled 849 Testarossa, and the Luce which needs no explanation, the Amalfi comes off as somewhat of a surprise with its rather conservative design. And I think that's a good thing; this car sits alongside the Purosangue in Ferrari's lineup as a more practical and usable model, designed to cater to a broader customer base. Its updated styling clearly ties it to the Purosangue, and I think it looks excellent. While the Amalfi's front end may have lost some of the Roma's aggressiveness, the overall design is a much more cohesive package compared to that of its predecessor. And while the car's overall profile is unchanged, it managed to largely do away with the Roma's rather bloated rear end in favor of a simpler and sleeker look. Plus, it speaks to the hearts of purists with not only a gas-only V8, but also a return to some good ol' physical buttons. Apparently Ferrari hasn't completely abandoned its traditional customers after all!
