A brand new green 2026 Lamborghini Temerario with red accents leaving Sunset GT hosted by O'Gara at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Introduced in August 2024 to replace the Huracán, the Temerario is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain consisted of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors producing a total of 907 horsepower. This example, a factory demo car, is equipped with 20"/21" Velador Forged wheels and the Alleggerita Package which utilizes carbon fiber components for improved downforce and reduced weight. U.S. customer deliveries of the Temerario, which has a starting price (MSRP) of over $380,000, are expected to begin in early 2026.

The brand new Temerario may have yet to reach customers' garages here in the States, but there are already several dealership demo cars like this one roaming our streets. Following the footsteps of Ferrari's 296 and McLaren's Artura, Lamborghini has given its latest bread-and-butter supercar a gasoline-electric hybrid and taken away a pair of cylinders. In terms of styling, I appreciate the cohesive implementation of the design language but don't think the new car looks as organic and exciting as the original Huracan, and I have yet to make up my mind on whether those hexagonal lights look more cool or more cartoonish. Replacing the Huracan's V10 with a hybrid V8 may be a topic of controversy among wealthy and discerning potential buyers, but I'm glad the dealer rep who drove this appropriately Christmas-colored car gave it a nice little acceleration while leaving the event, reminding everyone that while the Temerario may be different, it intends to be no less of a true Lamborghini than its successful predecessor.

Do you think the new Temerario is a worthy successor to the Huracan? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
