Custom Ferrari 458 Italia w/ “$26 Million Daytona SP3” Livery

A custom 2012 Ferrari 458 Italia leaving South OC Cars and Coffee at the Outlets at San Clemente. This car has been modified with Air Lift Performance suspension, S-Line exhaust, HD Tuning tune, and Avant Garde wheels. It features a yellow and black livery designed by Musartwork, installed by Royalty Wraps, and inspired by the one-off Tailor Made 2025 Ferrari Daytona SP3 “599+1” that sold for $26 million at the 2025 RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction with proceeds benefiting The Ferrari Foundation.

Many custom automotive wraps are designed and installed simply so the car's owner can show off, stand out, and get more social media hits. But every once in a while, someone comes up with an idea and times it so perfectly that any showing off, standing out, or resulting popularity is absolutely well-deserved. I'm sure the idea of this livery was conceived well before the SP3 that inspired it actually crossed the auction block. Being a charity auction for a bespoke factory example of a rare and highly coveted car, there was never any doubt it would fetch a high price. But $26 million was well above anybody's reasonable expectation. And all the hype surrounding the sale only gave this 458's lucky owner an even brighter spotlight to shine under. I don't know how the folks in Maranello feel about having their one-off design copied, but it sure looks special, both on the SP3 and on this 458. And nearly a year later, the car still turns heads and brings back memories of how much people were willing to pay for that unforgettable SP3. Perhaps it's a good opportunity for those unfamiliar with the wrap's inspiration to be educated about the record sale. And I think we all agree Ferrari can use a little more positive publicity these days!
