Koenigsegg Agera RS in Beverly Hills
The 2018 Koenigsegg Agera RS "Draken" driving on Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills. This car, finished in exposed carbon fiber with diamond dust in the clear coat, is one of 25 Agera RSs built.
As if the streets of Beverly Hills don't normally offer enough to satisfy car spotters, the annual Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance often corresponds with an uptick in rare, expensive, and unusual cars in the surrounding streets. Still, seeing a Koenigsegg casually driving among everyday traffic is quite a special experience. Most seasoned car spotters in Southern California have crossed paths with Draken before thanks to its frequent appearances at car events. But I'd be surprised if anyone can grow tired of it. From its exposed carbon fiber (and diamond dusted!) finish to all the mechanical marvels that hide beneath the skin, this is a car that deserves to be admired regardless of whether you see its details up close or watch it drive by from a distance. And I'm very thankful to have been able to do both.
