Maritime Blue 2026 Porsche 992.2 GT3 (w/ startup)
A new 2026 Porsche 911 (992.2) GT3 finished in PTS (Paint-to-Sample) Maritime Blue with yellow brake calipers starting up and leaving the Pre-Monterey Car Week Exclusive hosted by Protective Film Solutions in partnership with XPEL.
Remember that blue Mustang GTD from South OC Cars and Coffee that I posted a video of not too long ago? Well, here's a closer look at the matching GT3 that was driving right behind it. Maritime Blue has always been a beautiful color on Porsches, and the new 992.2 GT3 is no exception. What surprises me most about this particular car is just how good the chrome/polished wheels look. Some of my car enthusiast friends will think I'm crazy for admitting so, since I adamantly preach against chrome wheels on nearly all modern performance cars. If I had to choose, I'd much rather see the chrome look applied to the GTD, since it's generally more fitting for cars with American muscle roots. But I caught this GT3 a few weeks before finding out the owner has a matching GTD, and I was already convinced at the time that it looks incredible, with the wheels giving the car some added flair without looking cheap or pretentious like shiny wheels typically do. Congratulations to the lucky owner on accomplishing what I had once thought was impossible.
Do you think the polished wheels look good on this 992.2 GT3? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
