Back when the first-generation AMG GT was in production, it eventually became such a common sight that I mostly stopped taking photos and videos of it. But looking back now, I've come to appreciate the car so much more, especially in light of the new oddly styled 4-door GT. This car is not only powered by AMG's tried-and-true turbocharged V8 that enthusiasts have always loved, but also proof that you can build a good-looking car without trying too hard. It looks good without demanding any more attention than a sleek and classy sports car naturally should. And if AMG continues in the controversial direction it's currently headed in, I have no doubt this car, and other AMGs from this era, will only become increasingly desirable.
