New $486K 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish (w/ startup)

A new 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish from Galpin Aston Martin arriving at the 2025 San Marino Motor Classic at Lacy Park. Introduced in September 2024, the third-generation Vanquish is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 engine producing 824 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. This car, finished in satin Oberon Black with Onyx Black and Spicy Red interior, Bright grille finish, and 21" Y Spoke wheels with Black calipers, was listed for sale at Galpin with a price (MSRP) of $486,800.

Designing Aston Martin's new Vanquish certainly wasn't an easy task. The two-door GT market has been rapidly shrinking, and Aston had to create something that stood out enough from the two existing front-engined sports/GT cars in its lineup to justify the price premium without straying too far from the timeless elegance and classiness expected of the brand's offerings. This was my first time seeing the car in the flesh, and I think it definitely looks much better in person than in pictures. Its more daring design elements, especially in back, make it a far better candidate for matte black bodywork than most other Astons. And its powerful V12 makes just enough noise to fit its aggressive yet elegant character. The only question remaining is whether potential buyers will be willing to shell out around the price of a DB12 and Vantage combined to have one in their garage.
