New 717-hp Podium Green Aston Martin DBX S

A new 2026 Aston Martin DBX S from Galpin Aston Martin arriving at the 2026 Symphony of Cars Gala at Lacy Park, part of the San Marino Motor Classic. Introduced in April 2025 as a new flagship variant of the DBX, the DBX S is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 717 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque and features a modified exhaust system, a more performance-focused gearbox, reduced weight, and revised styling. This car, finished in Podium Green with Oxford Tan interior, is listed for sale at Galpin Aston Martin with a price of $377,617.

With so many high-performance SUVs on the market now, models can quickly fade out of relevance without frequent updates and improvements. In 2022 Aston Martin gave its DBX a massive power boost and aggressive facelift with the DBX707. Now, to continue attracting buyers the brand has upped the horsepower figure again while also reducing weight to improve performance. I'm glad Aston decided to ditch the 707's power-based nomenclature. After all, there will probably be even more powerful models and variants down the road. To be honest, even the original base DBX's meager 542 horses are far more than enough for an SUV. But if your goal is to brag to your buddy in his Urus, you're going to need a bit more than that. When it comes to all these ultra-expensive family haulers, I think the bottom line is simply what brand you ultimately prefer. And if Aston Martin is your choice, why not opt for a classic British green?
