One-Off PTS Signal Yellow Porsche Carrera GT (w/ startups)
A rare 2005 Porsche Carrera GT from Zweck, one of 1,270 Carrera GTs built, starting up and driving into a transporter after Period Correct Pitstop. This car, no. 0911, is the only example finished in Paint-to-Sample (PTS) Signal Yellow. It was originally ordered by the late Michael Valentine, creator of the Valentine One radar detector, who passed away on September 16, 2024. The car was displayed by Zweck as part of the Miami-based company's "Road to Monterey" tour.
The Carrera GT looked sexy the day it was introduced, and it looks no less sexy now. And it's still one of the best-sounding cars ever made, not to mention a pure, engaging, driver-focused machine. Built in a time when most supercars and hypercars were finished in standard factory colors, this car truly stands out with its bespoke yellow paint - a rich and warm hue with hints of orange - which is clearly distinguishable from the standard Carrera GT yellow, itself already an eye-popping color. But hey, if you want to prove that you've developed a successful radar detector, what better way to do so than in a one-off shiny yellow supercar that can reach over 200 mph and sounds like an F1 racer! And even though this car isn't a 911, there's no doubt the "0911" number plaque is still a nice bragging right for any Porsche enthusiast!
