Some people buy McLaren's entry-level "Sport Series" cars simply because they're the most affordable ones. Others opt for the 600LT, the more hardcore, more exclusive, and (of course) more expensive alternative to the 570S, just because they can. The 600LT takes the already fun and powerful 570 and beefs it up with more power, less weight, and more extreme styling. This black example may not scream for attention the way some more uniquely configured ones do, but I think the color looks great on the car, adding to its mean and sinister overall look which is especially prominent out back with those high-mounted exhausts.
