A very rare 1915 Pierce-Arrow Model 48 Seven-Passenger Touring arriving at and leaving the 2022 Holiday Motor Excursion presented by the Horseless Carriage Club (HCCA) of Southern California. This car underwent a complete restoration in the 1990s by a previous owner and was featured in the 2022 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA.

When you enter your car into a major event like the annual Tournament of Roses parade, there's always the risk of it getting soaked in rain. And once you've willingly taken that risk, it doesn't hurt to do it again even for a much more informal gathering like the Holiday Motor Excursion. Pierce-Arrow's fender-mounted headlight design is undoubtedly controversial, but it certainly sets this car apart in a parking lot full of horseless carriages and brass-era beauties. Due to the rain, there weren't nearly as many cars from luxury manufacturers present at this event. But I'm glad the owner of this one wasn't afraid to be an exception!

Would you drive this Pierce-Arrow in the rain? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
