A rare matte blue (Blu Grifo) 2016 Lamborghini Huracán Avio with black (Nero Ade) interior arriving at and leaving County Line Cars and Coffee at the Promenade at Westlake. Introduced at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the Avio was inspired by the Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) and was limited to 250 units. Based on the Huracan LP610-4, it features a choice of five new exterior colors with offset racing stripes, a unique interior with "L 63" logos embroidered on the seat bolsters, and a limited edition plaque behind the driver's seat.

This is one of those rather pointless special editions in which a higher price simply buys you a new paint job, some plaques, and the bragging rights that come with limited production. But it definitely looks pretty cool with a color scheme that still clearly distinguishes itself even in a time when countless supercars wear unique aftermarket wraps. With so many units of the popular Huracan sold over its decade-long production span, only time will tell if demand will eventually outweigh supply on the used car market. And only then can we tell if the Avio will stand out as a more desirable variant.

On a side note, apparently this car comes with the right to run stop signs like they don't exist. And apparently the genius in the BMW behind it figured that if the dude in front did it, he should do it too, even though by then there was clearly another car rightfully about to cross the intersection. Come on, guys, don't you think there are already enough people out there giving us car enthusiasts a bad name?

Would you pay a premium over a standard Huracan for this special edition Avio? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
