Red 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1
A red 1961 Chevrolet Corvette (C1) with black interior arriving at Supercar Sunday at Los Angeles Pierce College, where Corvette was the featured marque. This car was one of around 100 Corvettes including all eight generations in attendance at the event.
It shouldn't surprise anyone that most Corvette gatherings nowadays are dominated by the incredibly popular C8, and that C8 buyers often represent a different demographic from buyers of older Vettes. But regardless of what generation car you prefer, it's important to acknowledge and appreciate the nameplate's rich history of nearly 75 years. And I love seeing C8 owners show curiosity toward classic models, as well as owners of the classics express approval of and interest in the modern cars. It's truly amazing how cars can bring such diverse groups of people together!
