Parking options in Downtown L.A. include large structures that offer validation, metered spots on various streets, and private pay-by-cash lots that may unexpectedly change the posted price just when you're about to pay on your way out. But the valet guys at the Ritz-Carlton know there's no shortage of discerning individuals who would skip all those options and pay a huge premium to make sure their Rolls-Royces are kept in good hands. The first-generation Ghost may look outdated compared to the current model, and this car's color isn't one that will turn heads (unless you happen to know luxury cars well), but the more I look at it, the more I appreciate its elegance and simplicity. As long as that V12 proves to be reasonably reliable, this could be one of those cars that stands the gruesome test of time and, decades later, becomes a desirable symbol of nostalgic luxury!
