Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII in L.A. Traffic

A white 2020 Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII with custom wheels driving on a congested freeway in Downtown Los Angeles.

There's nothing on the road like a Rolls-Royce Phantom. Other vehicles in the modern ultra-luxury segment, even other Rolls-Royces, simply don't exude class and presence the way the Phantom does. From its unmistakable front grille to its generous proportions and imposing stature, this car lets everyone around you know that you're the king, and that they're all peasants.

There aren't many ways to make L.A.'s notorious traffic jams a pleasant experience. But with the Phantom, you can enjoy being cocooned in comfort and luxury, forgetting about everything around you (except, of course, that your car is worth more than all the other cars around you combined - BMW and Porsche included.) Better yet, get a chauffeur to worry about stop-and-go traffic and idiotic drivers while you sit back and enjoy your lavish living room on wheels. With a starting price of close to half a million bucks, this car costs more than many people's homes, and is probably more comfortable too. Who cares how long it takes to get to your destination? It's amazing that a 5,600-pound car with a 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12 and the drag coefficient of a brick can move with such quietness and serenity. Just don't forget that you'll also be burning through gas money as quickly as some of those poor peasants around you earn their paychecks. But of course, that's only pocket change, right?

What do you think - Would you drive a Phantom in L.A. traffic? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
