A silver and grey 1929 Packard 645 Dietrich Dual Cowl Phaeton arriving at and leaving Peninsula Cars & Coffee at Promenade on the Peninsula, organized by the Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance.

This Packard sure gets around. I've seen it at numerous events from the annual Holiday Motor Excursion in Arcadia to the monthly Cars and Coffee here in Rolling Hills Estates. And its beauty never ceases to amaze me. This car is everything you'd expect from a big pre-war American luxury car. Its color is elegant and timeless, allowing details like the wood dash and running boards to shine, and its generous proportions and open bodywork exude class and style. Personally, I like the full chrome grille on this car more than the body-colored grille surrounds on later Packards. But hey, give me any pre-war Packard and I certainly won't complain!

Would you choose this 1929 Packard over later models? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
