White 1947 MG TC Roadster (w/ startup)

A white 1947 MG TC Midget starting up and leaving Carcadia.

The early post-war years are not known for particularly special cars as businesses shifted back to development and production of civilian products. But MG managed to take their existing pre-war TB, make a few improvements, assign it a new letter of the alphabet, and quickly put it into production. Despite being a right-hand drive car, this particular TC has white paint fit for a wedding procession and prominent whitewall tires - pretty much everything the Brits despise about how we Americans spec their cars. The wheels and tires appear almost comically large (not unlike some modern luxury cars) compared to the car's diminutive size. But I can't deny it looks quite good - no less luxurious and classy than it is sporty and fun. What a lovely little car for a Sunday drive in Southern California!
