I'm amazed at how well the first-generation Ford GT has aged. Most retro-inspired cars of the time aren't particularly desirable today, and when this car was new many people didn't consider it as being in the same league as the Italian supercars it was meant to compete against. But it has managed to hold its own over time with a good ol' American V8 and bodywork rooted in heritage yet different from anything else on the road. No wonder good examples are now trading hands for more than four times their original value!
