A white Porsche 911 (991) GT3 RS with yellow brake calipers arriving at and leaving Morning Octane at the Rose Bowl.

The Porsche 911 is one of the most diversified sports cars on the market today, with variants catered to just about everyone whether you plan to attend business meetings, cruise along the beach, or zip through corners on the track. If you're the kind of driver who imagines you're at the Nurburging even while waiting at the Starbucks drive-thru, and you're willing (and able) to pay over double the price of a base-model 911, the GT3 RS is Porsche's answer to your cravings - a more hardcore but still street-legal version of the already hardcore GT3.

For the 991 generation, Porsche made noticeably more effort to visually distinguish the RS from the base GT3 with the addition of vents on the front and rear fenders - features that remained on subsequent RS generations. Even while idling at the drive-thru, at least you'll look (and sound) like you're in a race car. And once you've grabbed your coffee and are back on the open road, the car will make sure you don't forget its track-focused capabilities.

I have no idea why this particular car needed to be trucked to and from the event. It doesn't appear to be modified for track-only use, and the owner had no problem driving it on nearby streets. With simple white paint and no side decails, it's one of the most conservative specs I've seen on an RS. It certainly helps accentuate the vents, calipers, and other details that are often overshadowed by fancy colors and graphics. But given the Specialty Car Craft rear plate, I wouldn't be surprised if this simple spec was meant to be a canvas for some wild aftermarket magic.

Would you leave this GT3 RS in its current spec, or use it as the basis for a custom build? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
