Yellow Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta (w/ startup)
A rare yellow 2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale A (Aperta), one of 499 Speciale Apertas built, starting up and leaving the Purist Group Back-to-School Drive and Car Meet at Puente Hills Mall.
I have to admit, regardless of whether you say the "A" in English or Italian, this car's name simply doesn't roll off the tongue well. That's why most people (including me) choose to just say "Aperta". Just a few generations ago (with the 360 and earlier), high-performance variants of base Ferraris were only available in coupe form, since they were intended for track use with maximal structural rigidity. But thanks to improved convertible engineering and increased customer desire to enjoy even the most hardcore supercars on the streets, Ferrari began offering Spider variants like this one. Yellow was the Aperta's launch color, and while this example has different stripe colors, I think it still looks incredible. After all, if you want an open version of a sleek track-oriented supercar so people can see you, why not top it off with a flashy hue?
