A white 1996 Nissan Skyline (R33) GT-R V-Spec leaving Winter Drive 2025, organized by Purist Group, at Industry Hills Expo Center. Prior to being imported to the U.S., this car was restored, modified, and tuned at the Nismo Omori Factory in Yokohama, Japan.

The R33 Skyline GT-R is often seen as the unloved middle child between the legendary R32 and R34, but that doesn't make it any less worthy of wearing what is probably the most coveted badge in the JDM world. Its somewhat softer styling really helps draw attention to the presence of aftermarket parts, which most examples have at least a small amount of. Sure, the R33 has become increasingly common here in the States with more and more examples being imported. But for those who grew up in what many consider the golden era of JDM performance cars, this car still is, and will always be, a dream car.

Would you choose this R33 GT-R over an R32 or R34? Leave a comment on YouTube and let me know!
