Rare 1952 Aston Martin DB2 Drophead Coupe
A rare green 1952 Aston Martin DB2 Drophead Coupe, one of 411 DB2s built (around 100 of which were Drophead Coupes), arriving at and leaving the 2023 San Marino Motor Classic at Lacy Park where it was awarded Second in Class (British Sports Cars - 1946-1975).
Here's an Aston Martin so old that even James Bond never got to drive it. Bond's oldest Aston Martin was either a DB5 or a DB Mk. III depending on whether you include novels. This car came even before the Mk. III, and it had just about everything Aston Martin is still known for today - Gorgeous grand touring bodywork, a powerful engine, and that unmistakable front grille (though it was shaped a little differently back then). Much has certainly changed over the past seven decades, and this color would be hard to pull off on a modern car, but the heart and soul of a good ol' British grand tourer remains the same!
