Rare Donkervoort D8 GTO-JD70

A very rare orange Donkervoort D8 GTO-JD70 arriving at and leaving Peninsula Cars & Coffee at Promenade on the Peninsula, organized by the Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance. Introduced in 2019, the JD70, based on the D8 GTO, celebrates the 70th birthday of founder Joop Donkervoort and is limited to 70 units. With bodywork made mostly from carbon fiber, the car weighs less than 700 kg and is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged Audi five-cylinder engine producing 415 horsepower. The Dutch company just announced plans in July 2022 to bring cars to the U.S. for the first time, beginning with the D8 GTO Individual Series.
