Stryker Green SRT Dodge Viper GTS (w/ startup)
A green 2014 SRT (Dodge) Viper GTS arriving at and leaving Peninsula Cars & Coffee at Promenade on the Peninsula, organized by the Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance. This car is equipped with over $16,000 of factory options, including Stryker Green Tri-Coat Pearl paint, Exterior Carbon Fiber Package, and Carbon Fiber Black Interior Accents.
In its early days, the Dodge Viper was most commonly associated with either red (which looks good on pretty much any sports car) or blue with white stripes (a nod to past American race cars). But over the years the car has further embraced its serpentine identity with more unusual colors like this. Green can easily come off as overly pretentious, but it looks surprisingly good on this car. It's unfortunate that despite all the excitement surrounding the resurrection of the Viper nameplate with the fifth-generation car, it ultimately didn't sell as well as anticipated and was discontinued with no successor planned. But with its beautifully sculpted design and powerful American V10, this car will always be a thrill both to see and to drive.
